PRODUCT CARE IDEAS
Several of you have asked abuot product care ideas for these hotel sheets and towels. I have been selling them for a while now and have conducted a survey
from regular buyers to find out what product care ideas they use. It is much better to get feedback from a existing clients than just my own ideas, so I hope this all helps in
your decision making.
If you have any other questions or ideas not covered here please let me know and I will add them to the list.
PRODUCT CARE IDEAS FOR SHEETS, PILLOWCASES AND DOONA COVERS
These items are all made from the same fabric so the Product Care ideas are relevant to all of them.
* I use these sheets and pillowcases for home. I wash and hang them on the clothesline outside and they dry naturally in the sun. When I take them off the line I fold them and basically 'squash'
them tight which I find flattens out the fabric. It is obvious they have not been professionally pressed but I find it's ok for my home use, they still look really crisp.
* I wash and dry my sheets and towels in normal domestic machines. I take them out of the dryer and fold them straight away and that works well for me.
* I dry mine in my normal dryer and then press the outsides with an ironing press, takes no time at all.
* I iron every sheet but then I always have, even for our home. It's just a habit I have gotten into.
PRODUCT CARE FOR YOUR TOWELS WHEN THEY FIRST ARRIVE
All of the toweling comes direct from the factory in China in container ships. Because space is such a premium on these ships all of the towels are compressed with heavy machinery. Basically they are squashed.
When your toweling arrives it may look quite lifeless and flat and may also appear to be less white than you first thought it would be. Please don’t think that is how they will always look.
You need to ‘liven them up’ with a wash and I do recommend after the very first wash you dry them in a dryer.
Once you have done that you will be quite pleased with the result. The fibers will all be upright and soft, the toweling will actually expand and take up more space. In fact, some items may almost double in thickness.
THEY WILL BE BRIGHTER – CLEANER – SOFTER AND THICKER
